PRIORITIES

For too long, the Mount Pleasant has had a one-party Town Board with limited regard for community input. The unchecked development we've seen in recent years is a clear example of the problems this can cause.

 

I know that trust and support are earned through early outreach and an openness to hearing what residents have to say. 

 

As Town Councilman, I will be an independent voice for Mount Pleasant taxpayers, with a focus on: 

​

• Delivering leadership in Town government that is responsive, accountable, and transparent;
   

• Incentivizing development that is responsible and enhances the character of our community;
   

• Driving economic growth while protecting the environment and access to open spaces; and
   

• Fully funding the police and supporting our volunteer first responders.

With my 25 years as a Sales Executive at Nestlé, and more than 22 years as a Mount Pleasant firefighter, I know from experience that people with different backgrounds, beliefs, and politics can work together to accomplish good things.

 

Not only is it possible, it's what the people deserve — and it's what I promise to do as your next Town Councilman. ​​
